Arrive from Wenden Arizona HWY 60 and travel North on Alamo Road toward an RV park called WAYSIDE OASIS. Most of the drive is paved. Here the pavement turns to dirt around 24 miles.
The dirt portion of the road is wide and well traveled. Significant washboard caused me to use 10 mph in spots. Travel this unnamed road Approx 3 miles.
With WAYSIDE OASIS in front of you. (Oasis is a restaurant, bar, and has RV services like water, propane, laundry and showers)
Turn left onto Wickenburg Road heading North East. (Be mindful that Park road is also at that intersection, it travels South East and will take you to the Alamo State Park).
Follow Wickenburg road 3.5 Miles. The Center Camp is on the South side of the road. 2 Orange Driveway markers note the spot that is easiest access. This area is the largest gathering spot.
Welcome! There are several other areas that can house 4,5,6 vehicles a bit closer to the lake. Stop by and chat with Bobbi and she can point them out on the map for you. If you want lakeside, or lakeview, you’ll need to stalk and replace someone leaving!
