Homes On Wheels Alliance (HOWA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to supporting those squeezed between rising housing costs and limited incomes. We provide essential supplies to make vehicles safe and livable, offer guidance for transitioning into a financially and environmentally sustainable mobile lifestyle, and host gatherings that foster connection and remind nomads they are not alone. We also create opportunities to give back — strengthening fellow nomads, area communities, and our public lands.

quarterly to HOWA to be distributed to low
income nomads in need of a comfortable bed.

Conservation – We understand that contemporary nomadism is a low carbon minimalist lifestyle that contributes less to climate change in comparison to traditional living styles. Adhering to Leave No Trace principles we leave the land better than we found it.
