Santan Solar donated the panels and the Berger foundation’s grant was used to purchase components at a discounted rate from Renogy. Recipients were greeted by volunteers as they arrived to pick up their solar systems. Each recipient was given a short introduction to the system before it was loaded into their vehicle. The ability to charge a battery and power laptops, phones, CPAP machines, small refrigerators, and other appliances will be lifechanging for the award recipients.
