Logo Design Contest
Calling all artists and creatives! Homes on Wheels Alliance (HOWA) is excited to announce a contest to design the official logo for the 2025 Rubber Tramp Rendezvous (RTR). The RTR is a beloved annual gathering that celebrates the vibrant community of nomads, van dwellers, and all those who embrace the freedom of life on the road.
We invite you to showcase your creativity and capture the spirit of this unique event. Your design could become the iconic symbol for RTR 2025, featured on merchandise, promotional materials, and more!
Contest Details:
- Submission Deadline: August 31, 2024 (submission link at the bottom of this page)
- Prize: Your design, credited to you, will be prominently featured on all 2025 RTR webpages, Social Media posts, Merch, patches, stickers, etc.
- Eligibility: Open to all ages and skill levels
RTR Logo Submission Guidelines
- Must be original artwork
- Desert imagery/Quartzsite/ Mohave Desert Setting: may include plant life such as saguaro cactus, ocotillo, cholla, creosote bushes, etc.
- No camels
- Vehicles: if the artist includes any vehicles, the logo should showcase the predominant vehicle homes of our community — vans (cargo and passenger), minivans, cars/SUVs, RVs, truck campers, skoolies… in that general order.
- No faces
- No photographic imagery
- Scalable for merchandise and web
- Size: 4800 pixels x 4800 pixels
- 300dpi
- png or SVG
- Limits to 3-5 colors
- Aligns with HOWA brand and previous logos
- Must contain specific words: “2025 Rubber Tramp Rendezvous”
- Include “HOWA.org”
- Square format
- 2 image submissions with the same artwork. One with the word “VOLUNTEER” in all caps, one without

By participating in the Homes on Wheels Alliance (HOWA) Logo Design Contest for the 2025 Rubber Tramp Rendezvous (RTR), you (the “Participant”) agree to the following terms and conditions:
- Ownership and Rights:
- By submitting your design (the “Submission”), you grant Homes on Wheels Alliance (HOWA) exclusive ownership and rights to use, reproduce, modify, publish, distribute, and display the Submission in any medium or format, including but not limited to promotional materials, merchandise, websites, social media, and print publications.
- You understand and agree that HOWA may use your Submission in perpetuity without any further compensation or permission.
- Originality:
- You affirm that the Submission is your original work and does not infringe upon any third party’s intellectual property rights, including but not limited to copyrights, trademarks, or any other proprietary rights.
- You agree to indemnify and hold harmless HOWA from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from any breach of this warranty.
- Permissions:
- If your Submission includes any elements that are subject to third-party rights, you affirm that you have obtained all necessary permissions and licenses to include those elements in your Submission and to grant the rights to HOWA as stated in this waiver.
- Use of Submissions:
- HOWA reserves the right to edit, modify, or adapt the Submission as necessary to fit the needs of promotional materials and merchandise.
- HOWA is not obligated to use any Submission and reserves the right to reject any Submission at its sole discretion.
- Release:
- By entering the contest, you release HOWA, its affiliates, and their respective directors, officers, employees, and agents from any and all claims, liabilities, or damages arising from your participation in the contest and the use of your Submission.
- Acknowledgment:
- You acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
- You affirm that you are at least 18 years of age or have the consent of a parent or guardian if you are under 18.
By submitting your design to the HOWA Logo Design Contest for the 2025 Rubber Tramp Rendezvous, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this waiver.
