I’m JP, Originally from Waxahachie Texas, I started my nomad journey in Belgium as an Exchange student after high school.  Returning to Texas for College at the University of Houston, as soon as school was done, I returned to traveling as a tour guide working all over North America and in several foreign countries. For the better part of a dozen years, I was never in the same bed for more than 2 weeks.  I was fortunate to visit over 75 countries and all 7 continents.  When I decided to slow down my travels the natural step was to look for an RV. 9 years ago I got my first rig, and I haven’t looked back.

I have now owned 5 RVs and travel full time, Still occasionally leading tours of the National Parks as a guide but also organizing events for nomads and weekend campers.  I am passionate about protecting the areas we travel in and preserving them for decades to come.  I’m excited to bring that passion to the HOWA board and help keep the Public Lands Public and help those just embarking on a nomadic lifestyle to make it sustainable.
